“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes is set to appear on this week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Fresh off his recent title defense against Kevin Owens at WWE Bash In Berlin 2024, the WWE Universal Champion will be responding to a challenge from Solo Sikoa during Friday’s SmackDown.
The highly anticipated match between Cody and Solo for the title is expected to take place at the upcoming WWE Bad Blood 2024 premium live event on October 5 in Atlanta, GA. In addition to Cody’s appearance, WWE has also announced Giovani Vinci’s return on the same episode of SmackDown.
Another exciting matchup scheduled for the 10/5 episode of WWE SmackDown includes The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) facing off against Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) and DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa).
