Two familiar faces from the WWE NXT scene have recently been named as coaches at the WWE Performance Center. Oney Lorcan, also known as Christopher Girard, and Wesley Blake, previously known as Cory Weston, have joined the coaching staff of the WWE PC. Let’s take a closer look at these new additions and what they bring to the table:
Christopher Girard (Coach):
– As a former NXT Tag-Team Champion, Girard offers a unique perspective to coaching, having gone through the WWEPC system himself.
– Originally from Walpole, Massachusetts, Girard started his wrestling journey under the guidance of Lance Storm at the Storm Academy in Canada.
– Apart from his championship reign in NXT, Girard also competed in the ‘Greatest Royal Rumble’ event in Saudi Arabia.
Cory Weston (Coach):
– Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, Weston trained under WWE Hall of Famer Dory Funk Jr. before making his mark in the wrestling world as Wesley Blake.
– Weston was part of the inaugural NXT class at the WWE Performance Center and went on to become one-half of the NXT Tag-Team Champions.
– His experience and expertise are now being passed on to the next generation of WWE hopefuls.
Aside from Lorcan and Blake, another former WWE wrestler, AJ Winkler, also known as Alexander James, is listed as a coach, adding even more depth to the coaching staff at the WWEPC.
These additions are sure to bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to future WWE Superstars as they continue their training and development at the WWE Performance Center. To learn more about the coaching staff and opportunities at the WWE PC, you can visit Recruit.WWE.com.
