Jesse Ventura, a WWE Hall of Famer, revealed in an interview with Chris Van Vliet that he is close to finalizing a legends deal with WWE. Both parties have agreed to the terms of the contract, but the official signing is pending.
Ventura expressed his desire to wrap up the deal promptly because “time is money.” He mentioned that dealing with WWE under Endeavor has been a more positive experience.
The 73-year-old Ventura confessed that due to his strained relationship with Donald Trump, he had contemplated resigning from the WWE Hall of Fame on a couple of occasions.
Over the last few months, discussions have been ongoing between Ventura and WWE regarding the legends contract. He made an appearance at the July 29 WWE Raw event held at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Having been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004, Ventura is not only a wrestling icon but also a political figure, serving as the governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003.
