Damage CTRL member Kairi Sane recently took to social media to reassure fans after suffering a scary injury during Monday’s WWE Raw event. She posted a thumbs up emoji, indicating that she was okay.
During Monday’s episode, Sane and IYO SKY faced off against The Unholy Union in a Women’s Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders Match. The match took a frightening turn when Sane leaped off the top rope onto the outside, accidentally hitting her face hard on the commentary table as her opponents moved to avoid her.
The Unholy Union emerged victorious in the match, earning the right to challenge Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the Women’s Tag Team Championships in next week’s Season Premiere episode of Raw.
