Kelani Jordan successfully defended her NXT North American Women’s Championship at “WWE NXT” No Mercy against Wendy Choo. The match was a hard-fought battle with Choo putting up a strong fight, especially after her recent attacks on Jordan prior to the event. Despite being put in a tough spot with a sleeper hold towards the end of the match, Jordan managed to fight out of it with forearm strikes and sealed the victory with a 450 splash for a pinfall win after 13 minutes. This marked Jordan’s fourth successful title defense during her 85-day reign as the inaugural champion. After the match, Tatum Paxley made an appearance to deliver a final blow to Choo.
