Bryan Danielson, also known as Daniel Bryan, is set to headline this weekend’s AEW All In event in London. In a recent interview with Fightful.com’s Sean Ross Sapp, Danielson revealed that he is currently working for AEW without a contract. Although he mentioned that he and AEW President Tony Khan have had discussions, no formal agreement is in place.
Prioritizing his health, Danielson disclosed that he plans to address his neck issues with potential surgery after retiring from wrestling. Despite not having a contract, he expressed a strong desire to continue working with AEW in any capacity they see fit, emphasizing his love for the company.
As a free agent, Danielson revealed that he has not been in touch with other wrestling promotions. He humorously mentioned having nearly 4,000 unread text messages, indicating that he may have missed some inquiries.
Regarding his involvement in AEW, Danielson shared his role on the company’s disciplinary committee, despite not finding it particularly enjoyable. He expressed gratitude for being seen as a level-headed wrestler who can represent the wrestlers’ perspective effectively. Additionally, he acknowledged assisting Tony Khan with creative ideas but credited Khan as the mastermind behind AEW’s programming, praising him as a brilliant force in the wrestling industry.
Looking ahead to his post-wrestling career, Danielson remains uncertain about the specific roles he may take on within AEW. Despite this uncertainty, he is committed to contributing to the company in any way possible, showcasing his dedication and passion for the promotion.
