Longtime Lead Production Designer Jason Robinson is reportedly parting ways with WWE, as per a report from PWInsider. Robinson’s departure either took place last weekend following the Bash in Berlin event, or he is finishing up his work with the company this week.
Robinson, known for his impressive talent and background in theater and opera, transitioned into television and made a mark within WWE during his 23-plus years of service. Described as a “Kevin Dunn guy,” Robinson garnered much praise from his colleagues.
Many within WWE were surprised by Robinson’s exit, considering his significant contributions to the design and aesthetics of WWE’s televised content, including pivotal events like WrestleMania and ThunderDome. His departure marks a notable loss for the company.
In related news, Michele Carlucci, previously the Director of Production Travel at WWE, was also released from her position on the most recent Friday.
