WWE CCO, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, recently commended STARDOM star, Giulia, for making her highly anticipated debut in the NXT Women’s division. After Roxanne Perez successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship at No Mercy 2024, Giulia confronted the champ, signaling her arrival in the WWE scene. Levesque took to social media to express his confidence in Giulia’s potential for long-term success in the company, calling her an “absolute star.”
Giulia started her professional wrestling career at the age of 23, initially wrestling in Ice Ribbon before moving on to STARDOM and NJPW in 2020. Her list of accolades includes the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship, World Of Stardom Championship, Wonder Of Stardom Championship, and Artist of Stardom Championship. Throughout her seven-year career, Giulia has participated in 16 tournaments, emerging victorious in prestigious events like the STARDOM Cinderella Tournament, Wonder Of Stardom Title Tournament, and the 5STAR Grand Prix.
Although it remains unknown whom Giulia’s first opponent will be in NXT or if she will receive an immediate title shot against Perez, the possibility of Giulia being the one to dethrone the reigning champion is quite intriguing. With Perez’s championship reign already lasting 149 days, Giulia has the potential to become the first woman to defeat Perez in singles competition since Lyra Valkyria in February. The NXT Women’s division is indeed in for some exciting matchups with Giulia now in the mix.
